When will you pay me cash?

We will pay you cash on the spot, as soon as we come to pick up the scrap car.

Can you e-transfer the money?

Yes, we can also e-transfer the money upon request.

How much do I get paid?

The cash you will get paid for the car will be dependent on a variety of factors, you will get an approximate quote based on the information you have given us.

Do I have to pay for my pick-up?

No. When you scrap a car with ScrapCar.Cash we don’t charge for a pick up of a scrap car.

What should I do with my old license plate?

You can return them to Service Ontario. If your license plate is still valid, you can get credit for the remaining months or install it on a new vehicle.

Do I have to cancel my insurance if I want to scrap my car?

If you are planning to scrap your car, you may need to cancel your car insurance policy, it is no longer in your possession. Your insurance company may charge you a cancellation fee if you are not going to transfer your policy to another car immediately.
